During our President’s Day this year, we also held our Area’s Elimination Competition to choose the person who will represent our Area at the Designer of the Year competition to be held at the Floral Art and Design Show in August at the Business Design Centre, London. Thanks to National Judge, Margaret Rumens, for judging the competition. There were three entrants, Sally Taylor, Sue Blandford and Brigette Manton, who all made two designs each. One design had to be a still life exhibit, whilst the other was a petite exhibit. All three entrants made beautiful designs, but the winner was Sally Taylor who will represent our Area.
