President’s Day 2018

We had a very successful President’s Day entitled “Ladies’ Day” (gentlemen were also invited!) at the Larruperz Centre, Ross on Wye, on Saturday 16th June. Our President, Ann Tristram, welcomed our members to what was a sell-out event. We began the event with an Ascot Hat parade, with lots of members taking part, followed by an entertaining presentation by Sandra Townsend, entitled “Ladies’ Day”. After lunch, we were treated to a lovely demonstration by Julia Mitchell, “A Day at the Races”, continuing the overall theme of the day. There were also stalls to browse as an added bonus! The day also incorporated the World Show Honorary Exhibition Area Elimination Competition, which members could view during the lunch hour.
